My Client Base
Children and adolescents, their parents and carers, and adults.
Psychotherapy for Children and Adolescents
Child and adolescent psychotherapy is a safe, accepting space to process emotions and difficulties that may be getting in the way of everyday life. I meet children where they are, and work with them at their developmental stage.
Children do not always have words to describe how they feel. Talking, play, art, storytelling and role play can help them make sense of difficult experiences, and find healthier ways of managing emotions, relationships and struggles.

For parents and carers · usually 6–10 sessions
Reflective Parenting
Reflective parenting sessions are a space for parents and carers to explore their own responses to their child, and where those responses come from. It is not advice, and it is not a parenting course.
The aim is to understand yourself in relation to your child. In my experience that understanding tends to do more for a family than any technique does.

Therapy for Adults
I work with adults, mainly through talking therapy.
Depending on what you bring and what seems useful, that can include somatic work and inner child work alongside other approaches. As with all my work, the modality follows the person rather than the other way round.
School Visits and Advocacy
School visits are available at an additional cost, and include advocacy for the child within the school environment.
